What is ‘Cool-In’, you ask.
It’s a term I come up with (which is really just ‘time-out’) in combatting potential burnout due to prolonged overwhelming orders. I swear I am not complaining, in my line of work, it’s always a privilege to know that you like what I do and continue to support my work through shopping on my eShop.
However, it can be very overwhelming when the orders keep piling up and the turnaround keeps dragging further. It has come to a time that I will need to put a plug to the bursting bottle, just so that we could start things afresh after the break.
It makes sense, if I don’t decide when to put a halt to the overflowing work schedule, I am going to be burnout sooner than I thought; and this working pattern is likely to result in unpleasant shopping experience due to longer wait time.
So, every now and then, I will insert small pockets of ‘Cool-In’ period so that I could catch my breath. Unlike my usual vacations, the ‘Cool-In’ period will affect all orders as I will savoring my few days of solitude and will not be checking on emails.
